PERSONAL BANKER JOB AT KCB BANK BURUNDI

The Position

Reporting to Branch Manager, the Job Holder will develop and maintain Personal Account Relationships in order to increase quality deposits and loan portfolio of the branch.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Interview potential individual customers to increase number of accounts opened.
• Monitor personal accounts in order to minimize the dormancy rate and overdrawn accounts
• Process personal credit applications within stipulated turn-around timelines and inform customers on decisions.
• Resolve customer’s enquiries in order to increase customer satisfaction
• Monitoring Individual credit facilities in order to ensure minimum portfolio at risk.
• Prepare Periodic Reports on overdrawn accounts, Dormant accounts and Loan Performance

The Person

• The successful applicant should meet the following minimum qualifications:
• Should have a University Degree in a business related field. Professional qualifications (ACIB/CPA/ACCA) or MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years general banking experience, particularly in sales, Customer service, customer relationship management and/or credit analysis.
• Strong leadership competencies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to network and generate new business.
• Demonstrate successful track record on delivery of results as measured via performance appraisal

• Excellent planning, organizing and problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish new client relationships and generate new business.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
