CORPORATE BANKER JOB AT KCB BANK BURUNDI

The Position
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager with a dotted line to Head of Corporate, the Job Holder will be responsible for managing and monitoring customer service delivery in the Branch in order to recommend and implement solutions that meet corporate customer expectations with the aim of driving service excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide seamless, timely, accurate and responsive service to corporate customers.
  • Drive internal customer service at the branch to meet specific corporate customer requirements e.g. SFT, SSP, product knowledge etc...
  • Manage corporate customer relationship to enhance business growth through cross selling, revenue collection and cost management as well as drive customer education.
  • To ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are adhered to, in order to mitigate against risks in the corporate segment.
  • Open accounts and order all the operative tools for the corporate clients e.g. ATM cards, cheques books, electronic banking, Cash Management, etc.
  • To ensure safety and issuance of cheques books and ATMs cards within set Branch guidelines.
  • Capture, analyze, resolve and escalate customer complaints/ correspondences within defined TAT.
  • Provide customer feedback and ideas with regards to service improvements to Corporate Relationship Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Branch Manager.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of banking hall activities for corporate customers.
  • Ensure timely submission of relevant reports.
 
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
  • University Degree preferably in a Business related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years banking experience especially in Customer Service &/or Relationship Management.
  • Knowledgeable in banking operations.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative, self-drive and open-mindedness
  • Sales oriented & with good selling skills
